Surgical Oncology

Minimally invasive and traditional surgery techniques are used to treat a wide range of cancers.

The highly skilled, fellowship-trained surgical oncologists at White Plains Hospital deliver a unique level of care at every stage of the patient journey—from the time of initial diagnosis through acute management as well as during post-operative care and into lifelong survivorship and post-cancer surveillance.

Our surgical oncologists have a thorough understanding of cancer biology and work closely with the rest of the oncology team to develop and execute a care plan that is precisely designed to meet the needs of each individual patient. In addition to surgery, the management of cancer may include traditional chemotherapy, radiation, the newest targeted biologic treatments and/or clinical trials.
