Dr. Charlotte Zisman, an expert neurologist and epileptologist, completed her medical school training at Universidad IberoAmericana in the Dominican Republic and an internship at Lincoln Medical Center affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College. She then pursued a residency in neurology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, where she was chief resident. Dr. Zisman subsequently completed two fellowships in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy at North Shore University Hospital, Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Dr. Zisman’s hospital training included epilepsy and interpretation of EEG and EMG studies. She was awarded prestigious Penry Neurostimulation for Epilepsy Program Award in 2018 and the 2015 NRSP Neurology Scholar Program Scholarship.

Dr. Zisman holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support and basic cardiac life support. Her special interests includes intracranial surgical monitoring and brain mapping. Dr. Zisman has skills that address the physical, cognitive and emotional needs of her patients. She is fluent in Spanish and has a comprehensive approach to medical care that focuses on delivering compassionate care to patients and their families.
