About
Anna Schiwek, MD, FACE, ECNU is a board-certified physician in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree in Industrial Pharmacy from the University of the Philippines before attending the University of Santo Tomas where she earned her medical degree with honors. Dr. Schiwek completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship at Stony Brook School of Medicine.
She is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. Dr. Schiwek received her endocrine certification in neck ultrasound and is experienced in ultrasound guided biopsies and fine needle aspiration.
Most recently, Dr. Schiwek has been practicing endocrinology with a private practice multispecialty group located in Westchester and Putnam County. She provides exceptional, comprehensive endocrine care with broad clinical experience, the latest research and a warm patient-centered approach.
Dr. Schiwek specializes in the treatment of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid, adrenal and bone diseases.
